Frank S. Shimkus, Jr., CFS, AIF®

Frank has been with BBFG since the early 1980’s and is one of the original partners in the firm. He has an accounting degree from the University of Minnesota, along with earning certifications as a Certified Funds Specialist. In addition to assisting clients with his vast tax experience, Frank emphasizes the importance of diversification in the portfolio, risk tolerance, and long term investment, based on Harry Markowitz’ Nobel Prize-winning theory Modern Portfolio Theory. His experience has helped many clients through transitions such retirement, loss of job or spouse, divorce, and other financial challenges. Through his financial and investment planning skills and knowledge, he has earned the distinguished honor of Five Star Wealth Manager* in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021.
